Braveduck is a Helsinki photographer who needed a portfolio — a site that doesn't compete with the photographs.

The starting point
Photographer sites usually fail one of two ways: they drown the images in effects, or they look like a generic gallery template. Either way the work is forgettable.
The approach
We let typography and empty space do the work: one heavy wordmark, two buttons, and a sparse grid where the photos carry the page. Occasional color frames pace the monochrome series, and series titles get poster-sized type.
The choices
The outcome
The site works with the same logic from phone to large screens and grows with new series without a redesign. Live at braveduck.fi.
